Credit Union Prepaid Debit Card

"New Maestro Debit Prepaid Card!"

The New Partners Prepaid Maestro Card

Benefits:

·         You no longer need to visit the offices to access your money, picking up cheques or limited cash amounts

·         Your share withdrawals or loans can be loaded onto your card for you to you to use how you want – safer than carrying cash and you can add your own additional funds onto the card

·         It acts in a similar way to a pay-as-you-go mobile.  You can only spend what’s in your account - you can’t go overdrawn or be charged interest – you’re in control

·         You can use the card in shops, over the phone, on the internet or to set up standing orders

·         The card is an electronic bank account that lets you pay bills, set up standing orders, have your salary or benefits paid onto the card – you have your own sort code and account number

·         You can get cash, ideally via cash-back from the supermarkets or at ATM’s

·         Maestro Card is accepted around the world at all outlets & ATM’s displaying the Maestro card symbol

·         You can receive text messages when funds are loaded to your card and when you use your card

·         You can check your balance, view transactions and transfer money, 24/7, 365 days a year by logging on at www.credecard.com

·         Easy application, accepted in minutes without credit checks

How it works – easy steps

·         You can either apply online at www.credecard.com using the Promotion Code PARTCU or you can complete an application (available at our offices) and return to the Credit Union with your £10 for the cost of the card.

·         When applying online you will asked for your passport, full UK drivers licence or ID Number to confirm your identity.  For paper applications, we provide the ID we have on file for you to CREDECARD.

·         Your account is created either by yourself if applying online or by the credit union if using a paper application.

·         You will receive a welcome e-mail with access details to your online account.

·         You access the account, change your password and give answers to 4 security questions (one of which will be asked at login)

·         Your card is ordered and you’ll receive it and your PIN number as well as instructions and general information in the post within 8 days.
